Summary
Own-initiative report under the European Semester on the 2019 annual growth survey. Amendments describe Europe's economy entering a sixth year of growth amid divergence between Member States, weak and moderating growth, in-work poverty and precarious jobs, vulnerability to geopolitical tensions and uncertainty over relations with the UK, completion of Economic and Monetary Union and the Banking Union, climate-related losses and the Paris Agreement.
