Summary
Recommendation on a comprehensive agreement between the EU and Kyrgyzstan. Amendments shape negotiating objectives covering replacement of the 1999 Partnership and Cooperation Agreement, democratic principles, human rights and the rule of law, the GSP+ status, trade and economic diversification, the fight against corruption, money laundering and tax evasion, crisis management and counter-terrorism, World Trade Organisation membership, and parliamentary scrutiny, against a context of Russian and Chinese influence.
