Summary
An own-initiative report on the 2017 EU Justice Scoreboard. Amendments describe the Scoreboard as a non-binding, comparative tool assessing the effectiveness, independence and quality of national justice systems, covering civil, commercial and administrative justice and access to justice, and call for extending it to criminal justice, including anti-money-laundering, and to rule-of-law indicators drawing on the Venice Commission's Rule of Law Checklist and the European Semester.
