Summary

This dossier concerns the European Instrument for Nuclear Safety 2021-2027. Amendments address promoting nuclear safety, radiation protection and safeguards, cooperation under the Euratom Treaty with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), management of radioactive waste, decommissioning and remediation of former nuclear sites, a just transition for affected workers and communities, counter-proliferation and disarmament, conditionality on democratic principles and human rights, and delegated acts.
