Summary

This dossier concerns the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) for 2021–2027. Amendments rework the fund's priorities and EUR allocations, strengthen support for small-scale coastal fisheries, islands and outermost regions, and add provisions on the landing obligation, sustainable aquaculture, the blue economy, marine biodiversity and marine plastic litter, cessation compensation and climate-change mainstreaming linked to the Paris Agreement.
