Summary
A legislative file on road infrastructure safety management to improve the safety performance of road infrastructure. The amendments address extending the directive's scope beyond the trans-European network to motorways, primary roads and rural and urban roads and to projects completed with Union funding, the Safe System and Vision Zero objectives, network-wide assessment of dangerous sections, protection of vulnerable road users, and road markings and signs for connected and automated vehicles.
