Summary
Legislative proposal on protecting workers from carcinogens or mutagens at work through limit values, amending Directive 2004/37/EC. The amendments rework recitals on the European Pillar of Social Rights, occupational exposure limit values and their feasibility for SMEs and microenterprises, the precautionary principle, delegated acts under Article 290 TFEU, the carcinogenicity of diesel engine exhaust and hazardous cytotoxic drugs, and a transitional period for cadmium.
