Summary
The dossier is a resolution on the state of play of the implementation of the sustainability compact in Bangladesh. Amendments revise citations and recitals on the ready-made garment industry, workers' rights and the crackdown on garment workers in Ashulia, the ILO and freedom of association, the Bangladesh Labour Act, the minimum wage, building and fire safety including the Accord, and the EU's 'Everything but Arms' and GSP trade preferences.
