Mobilisation of the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund for redundancies in the call-centre sector in Italy. The amendments link the redundancies to a 45% revenue decline at Almaviva's Rome centre and its closure, address recovery in Lazio and Rome, the high proportion of women among the workers, reimbursement of carers' expenses, eight types of measures planned by Italy including training and reemployment vouchers, and a committee supporting former Almaviva workers.
