Summary
The own-initiative report addresses fundamental rights aspects of Roma integration and fighting anti-gypsyism. The amendments describe structural anti-Gypsyism, discrimination, extreme poverty and social exclusion faced by Roma, and call for upgrading the EU Framework for National Roma Integration Strategies in education, employment, healthcare and housing; they discuss the use of EU funds such as the ESF, ERDF and EAFRD, Roma women and girls, and Roma underrepresentation.
