A recast legislative file on emission performance standards for new passenger cars and new light commercial vehicles. The amendments revise CO2 reduction targets and timelines for the road transport sector, invoke the Paris Agreement and decarbonisation commitments, and address the transition to low- and zero-emission mobility, real-driving emissions, lightweight component construction and restructuring support for the automotive industry.
