Summary
This dossier concerns the EU Emissions Trading System for aviation activities and preparing a global market-based measure from 2021. The amendments reference the Paris Agreement and UNFCCC, the ICAO global market-based measure and CORSIA, allowance auctioning and the linear reduction factor, monitoring, reporting and verification, non-CO2 effects of aviation, the Single European Sky and SESAR, and using auction revenue for research into low-emission and sustainable aviation fuels.
