This dossier concerns the protection of individuals regarding the processing of personal data by Union institutions, bodies, offices and agencies and the free movement of such data. Amendments address aligning the rules with data-protection law for the public sector, the European Data Protection Supervisor and Board, consent, special categories of sensitive data and processing for public-health purposes, communication of personal data breaches, and transfers to third countries.
