Summary
The dossier sets out recommendations following the inquiry into emission measurements in the automotive sector. Amendments call on the Commission to revise the real driving emissions (RDE) conformity factor for NOx and improve PEMS measurement, strengthen the Joint Research Centre and cooperation with the EPA, transfer vehicle-emission responsibilities between Commission departments, increase transparency of Technical Committee on Motor Vehicles documents and lobbying, and cite the Air Quality Directive (2008/50/EC).
