Summary
Own-initiative report on internet connectivity for growth, competitiveness and cohesion, covering the European gigabit society and 5G. The amendments add references to Commission communications and recitals describing 5G and very high capacity networks as engines of innovation, the need for investment, universal coverage, mobile and wireless connectivity, European leadership and coordination, and differences in 5G network architecture regarding latency and reliability.
