Summary
The dossier examines the impact of international trade and EU trade policy on global value chains. Amendments call for ratification of ILO conventions, the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, an EU-wide due diligence system, a binding UN treaty, action against child and forced labour, and GSP/GSP+ preferences linked to labour and human rights standards.
