Summary
This own-initiative report concerns longer product lifetimes and their benefits for consumers and companies. The amendments address durability, repairability, reusability and upgradeability of products, planned obsolescence, the transition to a circular economy and 'products as services' models, extended producer responsibility, spare parts and warranties, and resource use and waste reduction.
