Summary
This is an own-initiative report on a European defence union. The amendments reference the worsened European security situation, the Treaties and the EU Global Strategy on Foreign and Security Policy, threats such as terrorism, hybrid, cyber and energy insecurity and climate change, CSDP capabilities, the cost of non-Europe in defence, EuroBarometer findings, and the potential secession of the UK.
