Summary
This dossier concerns the mobilisation of the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) for redundancies in the glass sector in Belgium. Amendments note a prior Saint-Gobain application and plant closure in Wallonia, the derogation from the EGF Regulation's redundancy threshold, personalised services and measures for NEETs, the cap on allowances and incentives, anticipation of future labour-market needs and skills, and the rule that EGF aid must not replace employers' obligations.
