Summary
Legislative dossier on countering money laundering by criminal law. Amendments address the link between money laundering, terrorist financing and organised crime, tax evasion and tax crimes as predicate offences, the FATF Recommendations, criminal penalties and sanctions for natural and legal persons, seizure of proceeds, jurisdiction across Member States, beneficial ownership, and effects on remittances, humanitarian aid, financial inclusion and developing countries.
