Summary
Legislative proposal on bank recovery and resolution: loss-absorbing and recapitalisation capacity of credit institutions and investment firms. Amendments concern eligible liabilities and the minimum requirement for own funds and eligible liabilities (MREL), implementation of the TLAC standard, the bail-in tool and write-down and conversion powers of resolution authorities, contractual recognition clauses and conditions for waivers, including for G-SIIs and O-SIIs.
