Summary
A legislative proposal on the promotion of internet connectivity in local communities. Amendments address support for free local wireless connectivity offered by public authorities, conditions for it being free of remuneration, advertising or provision of personal data, reducing digital divides in remote, mountain and island areas, financing through the CEF, very high-speed broadband and download speeds, geographically balanced allocation, data protection, and digital education tools.
