Summary
The dossier follows up the strategic framework for European cooperation in education and training (ET2020). Amendments frame education and training as a value in themselves and a public good developing civic and democratic values, stress flexibility for differing national challenges, tackling educational poverty and social exclusion, academic freedom and the Bologna process, and investment in quality education and lifelong learning.
