Summary
This dossier is the mid-term review of the EU's biodiversity strategy. The amendments address the EU's role in biodiversity loss within and beyond its borders, resource efficiency, removal of environmentally harmful subsidies, deforestation and forest degradation, biomass and biofuels under the Renewable Energy Directive, land grabbing, monoculture and industrial livestock farming, climate change, the Sustainable Development Goals and Aichi targets, farmers' rights to seeds, and impacts on developing countries.
