Summary
This own-initiative report concerns implementation of the Directive on preventing and combating trafficking in human beings and protecting its victims, from a gender perspective. Amendments debate the link between prostitution, demand and trafficking for sexual exploitation, victim identification and protection, vulnerable groups such as Roma, children, refugees and transgender persons, the role of Europol and Frontex, and the role of new technologies and online recruitment.
