This dossier concerns mobilisation of the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund for redundancies in the steel sector in Belgium. Amendments address reversing the declining competitiveness of the Union's steel sector, the Action Plan for a competitive and sustainable steel industry, a package of personalised services covering redeployment, training and entrepreneurship, support for young people not in employment, education or training (NEETs), services provided by FOREM, and the European Social Fund.
