Rapporteur (the Member appointed to lead Parliament's work on this text): VAN DE CAMP Wim (PPE)
Summary
The own-initiative report takes stock of the 2011 White Paper on transport and the way towards sustainable mobility. The amendments call for completing passenger rights for multimodal journeys with integrated traveller information, intermodal ticketing and better accessibility for elderly, reduced-mobility and disabled passengers; they address the quality of work and conditions of transport workers, gender participation, and warn against social dumping, monopolies or oligopolies.
