Summary
This dossier concerns the recast rules on the collection, management and use of data in the fisheries sector and support for scientific advice under the common fisheries policy. The amendments address a single European register, the definition of recreational fisheries and end-users, marine regions, ecosystem and socioeconomic data, data quality and standardised reporting, regional coordination, by-catch of protected species, the landing obligation, confidentiality and data protection, and the gender variable.
