Summary
This dossier concerns the protocol to the EC/Switzerland agreement on taxation of savings income in the form of interest payments. The amendments approve conclusion while regretting the limits on automatic, binding and unrestricted exchange of information, stress action against tax fraud, evasion and avoidance involving third-country financial institutions, and call on the Commission to assess and report on the agreement's application and the automatic exchange of financial account information.
