Current political situation in Afghanistan
This own-initiative report addresses the current political situation in Afghanistan. The amendments stress that no military solution is possible, cite years of conflict, civilian casualties, corruption monitoring, and the murder of an Afghan woman illustrating the lack of security for women, and reference the EU, UN, US, NATO, the ISAF and Resolute Support missions, the Taliban and ISIS, with divergent positions on withdrawing or maintaining foreign military forces.
