Summary
An own-initiative report on long-term lessons from the Ebola crisis and strengthening health systems in developing countries. The amendments cite the WHO, the epidemic in Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea, shortcomings in health and education systems, the disproportionate effect on women, healthcare workers' deaths, NGOs such as Medecins Sans Frontieres and the Red Cross, and structural adjustment programmes imposed by the IMF and World Bank.
