Summary

The dossier concerns tariff treatment for goods originating from Ecuador. Amendments set conditions requiring Ecuador to abstain from introducing new duties, charges or restrictions on imports from the Union and to implement international conventions on human and labour rights, environmental protection, anti-terrorism and money laundering, and provide for Commission monitoring and reporting (possibly as a score card) and temporary suspension of the treatment through delegated acts under Article 290 TFEU.
