Summary
This dossier sets out structural measures to improve the resilience of EU credit institutions. Amendments revise recitals and provisions on the prohibition of proprietary trading and certain trading and related activities, the separation of banking groups via dedicated subsidiaries, the too-big-to-fail problem, leveraged AIFs, and the role of banks in financing the real economy and SMEs rather than speculation.
