Summary
An own-initiative report on preparing for a fully converged audiovisual world. The amendments call for stronger enforcement of youth and consumer protection provisions and for equal data protection requirements across media and communication service providers, and demand that any background exchange of data be visible to consumers and that consumers be able to alter their privacy settings easily at any time.
