Insurance of natural and man-made disasters

This report concerns insurance of natural and man-made disasters. The amendments address differing insurance penetration across Member States, exposure to storm surges, floods and forest fires linked to climate change, prevention, risk management and citizen awareness, cooperation between Member States and between the public and private sectors, the distinct natural and man-made disaster insurance markets and liability, and consumer information, referencing the European Union Solidarity Fund.
