Summary
An own-initiative report on Saudi Arabia, its relations with the EU and its role in the Middle East and North Africa. The amendments describe the country as a hereditary monarchy without an elected parliament and raise the death penalty and public executions, women's rights including the driving ban, freedom of religion, the kafala system and migrant workers, the Salafi/Wahhabi interpretation of Islam, and EU-GCC trade.
