Summary
This report concerns the European Semester for economic policy coordination and the implementation of 2013 priorities. The amendments address the role of the EU budget, the Multiannual Financial Framework, the Youth Guarantee and Youth Employment Initiative, fiscal consolidation and structural reforms, the Economic and Monetary Union, the Commission's country-specific recommendations, lending to SMEs, tax fraud and aggressive tax planning, the role of social partners, and democratic legitimacy and parliamentary prerogatives.
