Mobilisation of the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund: technical assistance by the Commission

Decision on mobilising the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) for technical assistance by the Commission. Amendments regret the timing of the EGF ex-post evaluation and the lack of analysis of the crisis derogation criterion, support the Expert Group of Contact Persons and exchange of best practices among Member States, raise concerns about reduced staffing affecting evaluation of applications, awareness-raising, payment appropriations on the EGF budget line, and support for redundant workers.
