Summary
An own-initiative report recommending to the Council positions for the 68th session of the United Nations General Assembly. The amendments address effective multilateralism with the UN at its core, reform of the UN Security Council including a possible single EU seat, strengthening the UN General Assembly, human rights and the rule of law, country-by-country disclosure of payments by transnational companies, a European Institute of Peace, and gender mainstreaming.
