Air passenger rights
Legislative proposal revising EU rules on air passenger rights. Amendments refine the definition of 'extraordinary circumstances' and carriers' duty to provide evidence, strengthen protection where flights are cancelled or delayed or where a carrier becomes insolvent, address denied boarding on return tickets and for minors, refunds of taxes, compensation for long delays and schedule changes, and the needs of disabled persons and others with reduced mobility.
