Summary
This dossier concerns the mobilisation of the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) for redundancies in electronics manufacturing services in Denmark. The amendments address the EGF's role in supporting workers made redundant due to changes in world trade patterns, the Danish authorities' application and lengthy evaluation, the coordinated package of personalised services and its per-worker cost, vocational training and business start-up courses, and the subsistence allowance considered too high.
