Summary
This own-initiative report concerns implementation of the Audiovisual Media Services Directive. Amendments revise points on transposition by Member States, the internal-market free movement of services and the country of origin principle, media pluralism and cultural diversity, the promotion of European works, the 12-minute-per-hour limit on advertising and teleshopping, the distinction between linear and non-linear services, co-regulation, accessibility and the protection of minors.
