Summary
Own-initiative report on the protection of public health from endocrine disrupters. The amendments invoke the precautionary principle, call for criteria to define endocrine disruptors based on the WHO/IPCS definition together with testing and information requirements, treat them as non-threshold substances of very high concern, and debate revising the EU strategy; several extend the scope to wildlife and the environment.
