Summary
This own-initiative report concerns women in political decision making. The amendments revise citations and recitals on the under-representation of women in elected and nominated positions, gender stereotypes and segregation, the role of political parties, electoral systems and campaign funding, and call for multifaceted strategies including voluntary and legislated quotas, parity systems, awareness-raising and gender education to achieve equal representation.
