Summary
An own-initiative report on modernising Europe's higher education systems. Amendments concern the economic crisis, austerity and budget cuts, accessibility of higher education without discrimination, lifelong learning and non-traditional learners, youth and graduate unemployment, students with disabilities, university rankings, public funding, Member State responsibility for education, and cooperation with employers on labour-market needs.
