Summary
Own-initiative report on online gambling in the internal market. The amendments address the economic importance of the online gambling industry, Court of Justice rulings on cross-border gambling as an economic activity, risks of compulsive gambling, money laundering and crime, protection of deposits, and Member States' options to ban, monopolise or regulate the sector through licensing.
