Summary
This dossier concerns mobilisation of the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund for redundancies in machinery production in Poland. The amendments address accelerating mobilisation of the Fund, the temporary broadening of its scope to cover workers made redundant as a result of the global financial and economic crisis, the requirement that EGF assistance not replace companies' obligations, and payment appropriations on the EGF budget line.
