Summary
The dossier concerns progress on mine action. Amendments revise citations and recitals referencing the Mine Ban Treaty, the Convention on Cluster Munitions and the Cartagena Action Plan, define mine action (survey, detection, marking and clearance of anti-personnel landmines and explosive remnants of war, risk education, victim assistance and stockpile destruction), and address casualties, affected and producing states, and funding for clearance and victim assistance.
