Summary
This dossier is the Capital Requirements Directive (CRD IV) on access to the activity of credit institutions and the prudential supervision of credit institutions and investment firms. Amendments define 'systemic institutions' and 'systemic risk', set criteria for identifying them, and provide for a systemic buffer and stricter own-funds requirements. Others assign EBA roles in peer reviews, guidelines and technical standards, and govern joint decisions between competent and consolidating supervisors.
