Summary
An own-initiative report on internet governance and its next steps. The amendments treat the internet as a global public good requiring multi-stakeholder governance, address bodies such as ICANN, the IETF and Regional Internet Registries, oppose censorship, filtering and state blocking, protect fundamental rights, data protection and privacy, and call for measures on cybercrime, child protection, network security and promotion of the .eu domain.
